The Bike's Story

I'm pulling the plug on the McChop business, and I have to let the shop bike go.

The bike is a Harley Davidson FXSTS, so yes it is a softail, and that is the stock springer front end. The bike has evolved quite a bit, into the smooth riding urban escape vehicle it is today.
From the start, the intent of the bike was to be narrow and nimble. With the total slimming and trimming of the sheet metal, after dumping all the huge Harley doodads, we now have a bike that I'm proud to pack up and split lanes for miles.

Though I've had it for significantly longer, it's debut ride was the El Diablo Run in 2008.
During that run, my buddy (King Deadbeat) and I ran into Michael Lichter, the famous motorcycle photographer. He nabbed some photos of us that you might recognize from biker related publications.

One photo in particular, became the current Metzeler advertisement.

As you can tell, these photos feature a different set of bars. These were Z bars fabricated by Foundation Customs. The bike now has a set of super bars.

Over the years, the bike has been to many of the 'underground' bike events, and has earned a trophy or two in the 'show' category.
Most recently, the bike has been in Sons of Anarchy a few times, making me a little of that Hollywood dough.

The current paint is a fairly extreme flake job that I did, to demonstrate the intensity of what we could do in the shop. It has McChop written on the tank as well. I'd be happy to arrange a new paint job if desired when purchased.

Full ribbed fender from Front Street Cycle
Custom rigid-style rear end setup with sissy bar by Wizard Mike
White Brothers lowering shock kit - approximately 2 inches
Paughco header pipes, to cocktail shaker slip-ons
Chica Custom Cycles seat pan
Cadillac taillight and side mount plate
Custom saddlebag and mount by Deadbeat Danny
Fully rewired to eliminate stock HD junk

The technical:

Definitely not your grandmas show bike
Regularly maintained
Has a slight drip from the inner primary
Runs strong
Clean HD title
